Since 1969 Creative Alternatives of New York (CANY) has provided drama therapy groups to traumatized and socially underserved individuals. A leader in the field of drama therapy, CANY provides over 1,400 drama groups each year at hospitals, community centers and alternative schools, including:
 
 
In addition to leading drama therapy groups for traumatized individuals, CANY also provides training in our method to staff members at our partner sites and students enrolled in NYU’s drama therapy program.
