Mr. Hilton assumed the position of Executive Director in January, 2004. He had recently returned to CANY to serve as the Program Manager after working elsewhere in the field of drama therapy and theater management for over two decades. Mr. Hilton originally joined CANY (then called Imagination Workshop) in 1978 becoming the Program Coordinator at the NYU-Cornell Medical Center. He left in 1982 to found a therapeutic drama program for troubled adolescents in Orange County, NY. Mr. Hilton has also taught drama at Sunbridge College, a teacher education college and served as Executive Director of The Actors' Ensemble theater company.
